The Social Club was founded by a small group of residents in 2004, with the aim of bringing entertainment onto the urbanization for all homeowners. A committee was set up and a constitution was agreed. Homeowners were invited to join the social club at a small fee of 5euros per person per year. This was to give the club enough funds to set up. It was hoped that the club would have their own premises one day but this never came to fruition. However, over the years, the restaurant was made available for all kinds of entertainment ie: Bingo nights, games nights, darts, dominoes etc. There has been a lot of fantastic music bands from all over the Costas having played there. A new committee took over in April 2010 with the idea of making the club more interesting for members including coach trips and much more. The current membership stands at about 130 with the hope that this will increase as time goes on. We hope that this gives everyone an insight into The Social Club. For the committee, Dave Wardell.
